Signe's Sonorous Scramaseax is an epic one-handed dagger from the Shadowlands expansion, added to World of Warcraft with patch 9.1. It is an Intellect weapon aimed at specializations that wield daggers and use the Intellect stat: mages, warlocks, priests and shamans.
The dagger model is part of the weapon set from the Sanctum of Domination raid: a dark bone blade with an asymmetric single-edged silhouette, pale blue veins and a pommel in the spirit of the Maw's val'kyr. The name itself references a historical weapon — the scramaseax — a long single-edged knife used by Germanic and Scandinavian tribes, which fits the blade's "raven" look perfectly.
The item is named after Signe — one of the three val'kyr the players fight in the Nine encounter. This makes the dagger a thematic trophy from that specific fight, rather than a nameless drop from the general loot.
Signe's Sonorous Scramaseax drops in the Sanctum of Domination raid — a Shadowlands raid located in the Maw.

The fastest way to complete the appearance is a solo run at max level. The Shadowlands raid has long stopped posing any threat to a leveled character, and the Nine can be killed solo in a couple of minutes. It is best to enter through Raid Finder or Normal mode — that way you get more drop attempts with minimal resistance.
Enter the raid solo at max level — the Nine drops in a minute, and there is no resistance.
To farm the appearance, choose Raid Finder or Normal mode: item level does not matter here, and an extra difficulty barrier only wastes time.
Kill the boss on several difficulties per week — each one gives a separate drop attempt for the dagger you need.
Farm on characters with fast movement between raid points: the faster you reach the Nine, the more runs per hour.
A single kill drops several items — if you get not the dagger but another weapon from the set, it still unlocks an appearance for your transmog collection.
Check the loot list on the right character: the dagger is an Intellect weapon, and on classes without Intellect it will not appear in personal loot, so in that case farm with a suitable character.
The appearance is saved to your collection forever after the first acquisition and becomes available to all characters on the account that can wield daggers.
