Sinister Revenge — Transmog Set Guide

Sinister Revenge is an epic one-handed dagger added to World of Warcraft in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion (patch 3.0.2). It is a fast blade with a 1.80 attack speed, originally designed for rogues: the item's stats are tuned for agility, stamina, and attack speed.

Visually, the dagger belongs to the short-blade type and uses a strict, understated model without ornate decorations. The dark hilt and smooth blade make it a versatile choice for looks that call for a restrained, "working" assassin's tool rather than a ceremonial weapon. Thanks to its neutral silhouette, the item fits well into sets from a wide range of eras, from classic rogue gear to modern dark looks.

Sinister Revenge drops from Kel'Thuzad, the final boss of the Naxxramas raid. The raid itself is a floating necropolis above the Dragonblight zone in Northrend.

• The dagger drops from the 25-player raid mode. In the 10-player version, the same boss drops an analog — Anarchy, a separate appearance with a different model.
• The drop chance is around 7% per kill. The exact value varies from run to run, but on average you should expect several weeks of farming.
• The lockout on killing Kel'Thuzad is once per week per character. To speed up farming, enter the raid on several characters of your account.
• Soloing Naxxramas poses no difficulty: the raid is easily cleared alone at the current level by any class. The bosses have no mechanics that are hard to solo.
• Separate lockouts for the 10- and 25-player modes mean that each week you can kill Kel'Thuzad twice — once for Sinister Revenge and once for other appearances.
• To reach the raid, fly to the necropolis above Dragonblight. The entrance is located at the lower part of the floating structure — ascend to it on a flying mount. Inside, switch the difficulty to 25-player mode and clear all wings of Naxxramas up to Kel'Thuzad in the Frostwyrm Lair.

• Suits classic rogue sets from the Wrath of the Lich King era — the understated model does not draw attention away from the armor.
