Reins of the Snowy Riding Goat

Reins of the Snowy Riding Goat is a ground mount added to World of Warcraft in patch 10.2.7 as part of the seasonal WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event. Visually it is a snow-white mountain goat with thick fur, shaggy hooves and twisted horns — the classic Pandaren goat model from Kun-Lai Summit, reimagined in a wintry color scheme. The item description reads: "The mountain goats of Kun-Lai Summit are renowned for climbing even the highest cliffs in search of kafa beans and salt deposits."

The mount is an exclusive reward of the Pandaria remix. It could only be purchased with Bronze — the event's temporary currency — from the vendor Hemet Nesingwary XVII at the Infinite Bazaar. The cost was 2,200 Bronze. After the event ended on August 20, 2026 (PDT), the mount became unavailable to newly acquire, but copies already collected stayed with players forever and carried over to their main accounts.

The main and only path to the mount is purchasing it from Hemet Nesingwary XVII during the active phase of the WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event for 2,200 Bronze.

1. Log into the game with a timerunner character created during the WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event (May 16 — August 20, 2026).
2. Save up at least 2,200 Bronze. Bronze drops from mobs, scenario and dungeon bosses, and Pandaria raids, as well as from daily and one-time rewards.
3. Open the map of any main Pandaria zone: Valley of the Four Winds, The Jade Forest, Kun-Lai Summit, Townlong Steppes, Vale of Eternal Blossoms — the "Infinite Bazaar" marker appears in each of them.
4. Fly to the nearest Infinite Bazaar and find the gnome named Hemet Nesingwary XVII tagged "Beastslayer."
5. Open his vendor window, switch to the mounts tab and buy the Reins of the Snowy Riding Goat for 2,200 Bronze.
6. Use the item — the mount is added automatically to your account-wide collection and becomes available on any character.

The Infinite Bazaar was a special trading zone that appeared in every main Pandaria location during the remix. At each bazaar you could meet the same vendors selling rewards for Bronze.

Hemet Nesingwary XVII is visually styled as a dwarf beastslayer in samurai armor with a multi-barreled gun — a nod to the legendary Nesingwary hunting dynasty. Beside him stands a mythic beast that looks straight out of a book about the Infinite Dragonflight.

Hemet Nesingwary XVII sold three exclusive remix goats at a single price of 2,200 Bronze. They all share the same model and differ only in coloring.

If you managed to catch the remix, it made sense to buy the whole set at once: 6,600 Bronze added three mounts to your collection.

The riding goat model first appeared in the Mists of Pandaria expansion and is used in several mounts available in the regular game. If you missed the snowy variant, consider these alternatives.

2,200 Bronze was a small sum that could be gathered in a single gaming evening. Still, on the opening day of the remix, knowing the optimal sources of Bronze helped you avoid getting distracted from other purchases.

The fastest sources of Bronze

1. Dungeons and scenarios — every successful run gave a significant influx of Bronze. Finding a group through the group finder tool was the most reliable farming method.
2. Pandaria raids of any difficulty — LFR, Normal and Heroic raids dropped huge chests of Bronze and included a weekly bonus.
3. Daily quests — at every vendor in the Infinite Bazaar you could pick up one-time Bronze quests.
4. Scrapping gear — recycling unneeded items through Infinite Dust brought extra Bronze.
5. Bronze chests — dropped from activities all over the world and gave a guaranteed sum when opened.

Daily plan

• In the morning, take all one-time quests from the Infinite vendors
• Run LFR of one of the Pandaria raids — a single run dropped 1,500–3,000 Bronze
• Clear 2–3 dungeons through the group finder tool
• By evening, scrap the gear accumulated in your bags

That was enough to buy the Reins of the Snowy Riding Goat and several other mounts within the very first days of the event.

WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria officially ended on August 20, 2026 at 8:00 AM PDT — a week before the release of The War Within expansion. After that date:

• Bronze as a currency was completely removed from the game
• Hemet Nesingwary XVII and the Infinite Bazaar disappeared
• All purchased mounts, including the Reins of the Snowy Riding Goat, stayed in the collection forever and became available on retail characters

Blizzard stated that the remix format might return in the future (by analogy with MoP Remix → Legion Remix), but as of TWW 11.1 no official date has been announced for the return of the Pandaria remix specifically. If the remix returns, Hemet Nesingwary XVII will most likely appear again with the same mount lineup.
