Springtide Dreamtalon

Reins of the Springtide Dreamtalon is a ground mount added to World of Warcraft in patch 10.2.0 "Guardians of the Dream" (Dragonflight expansion, November 7, 2023). It is a snow-white variant of the dreamtalon — a four-legged predator with thick fur and powerful claws that dwells in the Emerald Dream. The mount is tied to the Dream Wardens faction and is purchased with Seedbloom currency once you reach renown level 18.

The main way to obtain it is to buy it from Sylvia Whisperbloom or Talisa Whisperbloom at the Central Encampment of the Emerald Dream for 1 Seedbloom. Additionally, the mount can drop directly from a Gigantic Dreamy Bounty — the reward for planting a Gigantic Dreamseed, as well as from the regular caches that appear after an Emerald Bounty.

• Exotic dreamtalon model — a snow-white, four-legged predator with long fur and a saber-toothed muzzle, a member of a unique mount family from patch 10.2. The collection has four colorations in total: springtide, snowfluff, ochre, and battle.
• Guaranteed acquisition — unlike lottery-style drop mounts, the springtide dreamtalon is bought for a fixed 1 Seedbloom, which makes the farm predictable and dependent only on your reputation progress.
• Account-wide — once obtained, the mount unlocks for all characters regardless of faction and class.
• Speed 10 out of 10 — as a ground mount it gains a +60% or +100% movement speed bonus depending on your riding skill
• Parallel collection — while you farm Seedblooms and plant seeds for the springtide dreamtalon, you also unlock other rewards along the way: Reins of the Snowfluff Dreamtalon, Reins of the Ochre Dreamtalon, and Dream Wardens pets.

The main path is to raise your renown with the Dream Wardens faction to level 18 and buy the mount for a Seedbloom.

1. Open the patch 10.2 campaign and reach the Emerald Dream. Access opens through the story at the Central Encampment after completing the quest chain in Thaldraszus.
2. Build reputation with the Dream Wardens faction through story chapters (2,500 per chapter), world quests, treasures, rare enemies, and the weekly ally quest.
3. Visit the Superbloom mega-event every week — it grants 1,000 reputation and a large amount of Dreamseeds
4. Once you reach renown level 18, head to Sylvia Whisperbloom in the Wild Garden or to Talisa Whisperbloom at the Central Encampment.
5. Pick up the weekly quest "Blooming Dreamseeds" from Talisa Whisperbloom and plant three Dreamseeds in fertile soil.
6. Turn in the quest and receive 1 Seedbloom.
7. Purchase the Reins of the Springtide Dreamtalon from either of the Whisperbloom sisters for 1 Seedbloom.

To access the reward at renown level 18, you need to methodically grind reputation with the faction. Below are the main sources with the gain per action listed.

The optimal strategy for the first weeks: complete all available campaign chapters, do the Superbloom at every event, finish off rares along your route, and never skip the weekly quests. By week 4–5 of active play, renown level 18 is reached without any strain.

Seedbloom is the patch 10.2 currency used to buy mounts, pets, and cosmetics from the Whisperbloom sisters. On a weekly basis you receive one Seedbloom for the quest "Blooming Dreamseeds". There are no other stable sources of this currency, so plan your purchases in advance.

What else to spend Seedbloom on

• Additional dreamtalons of other colorations
• Reins of the Snowfluff Dreamtalon — a purple-and-white variant
• Dream Wardens battle pets (unlock at renown level 11)
• Druid customizations and gear sets

The second path to the mount is planting Gigantic Dreamseeds in special plots all across the Emerald Dream. After the growth cycle finishes (about 3 minutes), a cache appears with a chance for a Gigantic Dreamy Bounty, from which the springtide dreamtalon can drop.

1. Gather at least one Gigantic Dreamseed — they drop from rares, are sold by a vendor at renown level 20 for 1,500 supplies, and come as a reward for renown level 17
2. Find an Emerald Bounty plot with an empty slot for a Gigantic Dreamseed
3. Plant the seed and wait out the growth cycle, feeding it Emerald Dewdrops if needed
4. Once growth completes, collect the cache — inside there may be a Gigantic Dreamy Bounty
5. Open the bounty — with a small chance, the Reins of the Springtide Dreamtalon will drop

This method gives an additional chance at the mount each week, but the drop chance is low. Use it as insurance, not as your main path.

Weekly checklist

To get the springtide dreamtalon as fast as possible, perform the same actions every week on your main character:

1. Start the Superbloom and complete it to the end — 1,000 reputation.
2. Turn in the weekly quest "Blooming Dreamseeds" — 1 Seedbloom.
3. Pick up the Dream Wardens ally quest — 500 reputation.
4. Plant all the Gigantic Dreamseeds you have stored up.
5. Clear the rare rotation along your route — Dreamseeds and reputation.
6. Finish the story chapters if a new one is open.

Bringing in alts

Seedbloom currency can be farmed in parallel on several characters. Each alt completes the weekly quest "Blooming Dreamseeds" and receives its own Seedbloom. However, the mount is account-bound, so the purchase is only possible once — alts are useful for other rewards.

Where the Whisperbloom sisters are located

• Talisa Whisperbloom — Central Encampment of the Emerald Dream, coordinates roughly 49.8 / 62.1
• Sylvia Whisperbloom — Wild Garden of the Emerald Dream, coordinates roughly 59.7 / 16.9

Both sell the same goods, gated by renown level. It is more convenient to use whichever is closer to your farming spot.
