Get Stargrazer mount
Overview

Stargrazer is a translucent ground mount in the form of an emerald dreamstag, added in patch 10.2 "Guardians of the Dream". It is one of six translucent mounts that can be purchased with Dream Infusion currency from the NPC Elurahn in the Emerald Dream.
The mount's in-game description reads: "You can't help but wonder what it would be like to pluck the stars from the heavens. Perhaps one day the Stargrazer will show us."
Why you want this mount
- A unique translucent design in emerald tones — the dreamstag looks like a creature made of pure Dream energy
- Adds to your collection of translucent Emerald Dream mounts (alongside
Drakedog,
Clawback,
Mammifold,
Sham Wing and
Sleepmanta) - A ground mount with a 60% or 100% increase in movement speed depending on your riding skill
- Account-bound — available to all characters on your account
Requirements
- A character that is level 70 or higher (for access to the Emerald Dream)
- Renown level 5 with the Dream Wardens — unlocks the Dream Infusion system
- The completed quest "Emerald Awakening" from Elurahn
- A base dreamstag mount in your collection — one of four options (details below)
- 1 Dream Infusion — the currency for the purchase
Which base dreamstag you need
To purchase the Stargrazer, your collection must include at least one mount from the dreamstag family. Any of the four will do:
Mount | Source | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Blooming Dreamstag | Talisera Whisperbloom / Dreamseed Caches | Renown 18 with the Dream Wardens |
| Lunar Dreamstag | Lunar Priestess Lasara | Renown 17 with the Dream Wardens |
| Flaming Dreamstag | Talisera Whisperbloom / Dreamseed Caches | Renown 18 with the Dream Wardens |
| Radiant Dreamstag | Lunar Priestess Lasara | Renown 17 with the Dream Wardens |
The fastest way to get a base dreamstag is to raise your renown to level 17 and buy the Lunar or Radiant Dreamstag from Lunar Priestess Lasara at the Central Encampment in the Emerald Dream.
How to get a Dream Infusion
Step 1 — Unlock the Dream Infusion system
Reach renown level 5 with the Dream Wardens and complete the quest "Emerald Awakening" from Elurahn. NPC coordinates:
Step 2 — Accumulate Dream Energy
To earn a single Dream Infusion you need to accumulate 7,000 Dream Energy. Energy is earned from any activity in the Emerald Dream:
Activity | Dream Energy |
|---|---|
| Dream Wardens paragon reputation | 3500 |
| Campaign chapters (6 total) | 500 each |
| Side quest chains | 325 |
| Weekly quests | 100–1000 |
| The "Superbloom" event | 50–200 |
| Local quests | 50–100 |
| Treasures and rare enemies | 25–50 |
Step 3 — Exchange Energy for an Infusion
Once the Dream Energy bar fills to 7,000, return to Elurahn and exchange it for 1 Dream Infusion. Note: the exchange is possible only once per day, and energy does not accumulate beyond the cap.
Upon reaching renown level 18 with the Dream Wardens, you receive 1 Dream Infusion for free as a reward.
Purchasing the Stargrazer
Once you have a Dream Infusion and a base dreamstag in your collection, approach Elurahn:
Open the vendor window and purchase the
Stargrazer for 1 Dream Infusion. The mount will appear in your collection immediately.
Note: the purchase can be undone within 2 hours if you change your mind.
Optimization tips
- Start with renown. Level up your reputation with the Dream Wardens first — you need at least renown level 5 for access to the Infusion system, and 17 or 18 for a base dreamstag.
- Complete the Emerald Dream campaign. The six campaign chapters grant 500 Dream Energy each — that's 3,000 of the required 7,000.
- Don't forget paragon. After hitting max renown, each paragon (refilling the bar) yields 3,500 Energy — half of the amount you need.
- Take part in the "Superbloom". This is a regular event in the Emerald Dream that grants Dream Energy and other rewards.
- Plan your time. Since exchanging Energy for an Infusion is possible only once per day, you cannot get several Infusions in a single day. The Stargrazer only requires one Infusion.
- Use alts. Dream Energy and renown are earned per character separately, but the mount is account-bound — you can farm on whichever character is most convenient.
