Overview

Staff of Fractured Spacetime

Staff of Fractured Spacetime is a two-handed staff of rare quality, crafted in the distinctive broker style: a faceted crystalline head atop a dark shaft with gold inlay and a soft glow. The model echoes the "merchant" aesthetic of the broker race — shimmering facets, orderly geometry and the muted shine of precious metal. The item was added in the Shadowlands expansion alongside the Tazavesh, the Veiled Market megadungeon in patch 9.1.0.

This silhouette reads clearly as a "magical" staff without aggressive spikes or bone elements, so it suits mages and warlocks as well as priests, druids and shamans who want a clean caster look.

Source

The staff drops from the dungeon's final boss — So'leah, who closes out the "So'leah's Gambit" wing of the Tazavesh, the Veiled Market megadungeon.

  • The dungeon is split into two wings: "Streets of Wonder" and "So'leah's Gambit".
  • Two more bosses stand before So'leah in the "So'leah's Gambit" wing — Hylbrande and Timecap'n Hooktail.
  • The staff's drop chance from So'leah is about 8.67% per kill.
  • There is no attempt limit: you can kill the boss every day until the look drops.

In The War Within the dungeon is part of the Mythic+ rotation under the name "Tazavesh: So'leah's Gambit", which makes farming the staff especially convenient right now — the "So'leah's Gambit" wing runs separately and quickly. On Mythic difficulty the dungeon is also available outside the rotation at any time.

Who it suits visually

  • Pairs with dark-purple and gold sets in the spirit of the brokers and Tazavesh — for example, the cloth sets from the dungeon itself.
  • Harmonizes with the cool blue-and-gold palette of caster armor where you want a restrained, "expensive" accent.
  • Contrasts with rough bone and nature looks — against druid or shaman sets it appears emphatically magical.
  • Fits "secrets merchant" and "interdimensional mage" concepts thanks to the crystalline head.

Tips

1

Head straight in through the "So'leah's Gambit" wing in Mythic+ or Mythic mode — three bosses go down quickly, and So'leah is always last.

2

At level 90 the dungeon can be soloed on most classes, so farming the look does not require a group.

3

So'leah moves into a second phase at 40% health and bonds with relics, reducing damage taken — just keep fighting; in solo farming this only lengthens the encounter a little.

4

So'leah also drops the rare inv_brokermount_darkCartel Master's Gearglider mount at about a 2% chance, so every run is worthwhile even after you get the staff.

5

The look is tied to the shared appearance collection, so a single drop covers all characters on the account.

6

If the staff does not drop on the first try, farm So'leah daily — there is no limit on the number of kills.
