Startouched Furline — How to Get the Mount

Startouched Furline is a flying mount shaped like a magical cat whose body is covered with starry patterns. It is a celestial version of the Sunwarmed Furline, which is sold in the Blizzard Shop. Both mounts belong to the same family — giant magical cats with a fox-like tail that can soar through the air without wings.

The mount was added in patch 11.0.2 and became a reward for purchasing a 12-month World of Warcraft subscription. The promotion ran from October 15, 2024, to October 14, 2025, after which the mount was no longer available through the standard method.

The Startouched Furline was distributed as part of a 12-month World of Warcraft subscription bundle. The promotion was active from October 15, 2024, to October 14, 2025. In addition to the Startouched Furline, the bundle included:

Players who already had an active 12-month subscription with auto-renewal at the time of the promotion launch received all rewards for free — by October 31, 2024. The gift had to be claimed no later than April 30, 2025.

Current Status — Unavailable

As of March 2026, the promotion has ended, and the Startouched Furline is not sold in the Battle.net Shop or the in-game Trading Post. The mount is marked as Retired.

Return Prospects — Trading Post

Blizzard has officially confirmed that promotional mounts with a "limited availability" label will appear in the Trading Post in the future. No specific dates have been announced for the Startouched Furline, but there is reason to believe it will eventually become available for Trader's Tenders.

Check the Trading Post updates monthly — new items appear on the first of each month.

The mount speed automatically scales to the maximum available to your character. On the ground it is +60% or +100% depending on your riding skill; in the air it is full Skyriding.

One of the first eternal travelers met the furlines and befriended a pair of them. Following the traveler to his domain, these kittens were forever changed by the life there.

The Startouched Furline is a magical cat with emerald-starry eyes and a fluffy fox-like tail. Unlike most flying mounts, it has no wings — it runs through the air using pure magic. The mount animations include several fun scenes: the cat tries to catch its own tail, stretches, and purrs.
