Get Stormlash's Last Resort

Stormlash's Last Resort is an epic one-handed dagger added to World of Warcraft with the Dragonflight expansion (patch 10.0.2). It is a caster weapon: it carries intellect, stamina, critical strike rating and mastery, so the dagger suits mages, warlocks, priests, shamans, druids, and Dragonflight evokers.

The item belongs to the weapon set of the Vault of the Incarnates raid and is added to your appearance collection by the usual transmogrification rules: you only need to obtain the dagger once on any difficulty.

The dagger drops from the raid's final boss — Raszageth in the Vault of the Incarnates raid. The raid is located in Thaldraszus, on the eastern edge of the Dragon Isles, beyond Tyrhold keep. The fastest way to get there is from Valdrakken: go up to the Seat of the Aspects, use the teleportation pad at the top, and walk across the platform to the raid entrance — a flight point opens there as well.

Loot specifics:

• The dagger drops from Raszageth on any difficulty — Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic.
• The appearance is identical across all difficulties in silhouette, but the blade color differs: each difficulty grants its own coloration.
• Item level depends on difficulty: 385 in Raid Finder, 398 on Normal, 411 on Heroic, and 424 on Mythic.
• The final boss also drops the Renewed Proto-Drake: Embodiment of the Storm-Eater — an appearance variant for the proto-drake, so a run for the dagger is worth combining with farming that look.
• The fight against Raszageth is built around charge-polarity mechanics and phase changes, so even several expansions later the raid is hard to clear solo. For transmog farming it is more reliable to gather a small group through the group finder tool.

The content is complete — the quest Vault of the Incarnates: Fury of the Storm-Eater is now a story milestone rather than an active objective. With the release of the Midnight expansion, legacy loot rules are enabled for Dragonflight raids, so at high level loot drops noticeably more generously than in the current season.
