Takazj's Entropic Edict — Transmog Set Guide

Takazj's Entropic Edict is an epic-quality two-handed staff from the The War Within expansion. It is a nerubian weapon with a long curved shaft crowned by a crystalline formation: a dark chitinous body is laced with veins of a dim purple-crimson glow, as if a droplet of decaying Void were sealed inside the staff. The silhouette echoes the architecture of the hive — the same sharp, segmented joints found on the armor of the Azj-Kahet guardians.

The staff is meant for casters: it is wielded by mages, warlocks, priests, shamans, druids, monks and evokers. Its base stat is Intellect, so in transmog it can be inherited by any specialization that uses intellect staves. The name references Skeinspinner Takazj — one of the two leaders of the encounter from which the weapon drops.

Takazj's Entropic Edict drops from the Silken Court encounter in the Nerub'ar Palace raid — the first raid of The War Within. The Silken Court is the seventh, next-to-last fight of the raid, and it is an encounter against two bosses at once: Skeinspinner Takazj and Anub'arash, the closest advisors of Queen Ansurek.

• The staff is available on every difficulty: Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic and Mythic.
• The item level rises from Raid Finder up to Mythic, but the model and transmog appearance are identical across all difficulties.
• The drop is bound to the character until the appearance is learned, after which the transmog unlocks for the entire account.
• The fight is killed solo by a max-level character with ease, since the content is left over from the previous expansion relative to the current Midnight.
• The raid entrance is in the south of the Azj-Kahet zone, near the City of Threads.

The staff is not tied to a single specialization within the fight — it drops from the general Silken Court loot pool as a caster weapon, so you can chase it on every kill of this encounter on any difficulty.
