Malavita first discovered World of Warcraft in Draenor, but truly got into the game with the Shadowlands expansion. Has a soft spot for Demon Hunters and Mages. Considers her main goal to be collecting as many mounts as possible.

The Lobotomizer is an epic-quality one-handed dagger, a honed cosmetic replica of a classic Alterac Valley weapon. The blade is short and wide, with a slight curve and a dark hilt; the silhouette reads as a utilitarian combat knife rather than a ceremonial weapon. The model itself is the iconic "short saber" from the very first version of World of Warcraft, so the item is prized above all for its retro aesthetic.
The Lobotomizer is sold for currency by the Alterac Valley vendors who appear for the duration of the holiday event, the World of Warcraft anniversary. This is part of the "Korrak's Revenge" event, a reimagining of the very first Alterac Valley.
The vendors stand in the Hillsbrad Foothills, near the portal to the battleground. Each faction has its own seller:
Vendor coordinates in the Hillsbrad Foothills:
The Lobotomizer costs 2
Marks of Honor and 40 Timewarped Badges. Marks of Honor drop in regular PvP, while Timewarped Badges are earned from the trials of the past and anniversary activities, including the "Korrak's Revenge" battles themselves.
An important clarification: this particular dagger is sold freely, with no preliminary quest chain required to buy it. A separate condition applies only to four special weapon types in the vendor's stock (such as the ice spear and the bloodletter): they unlock only after killing Korrak in the classic Alterac Valley and turning in the "Korrak's Revenge" quest. This restriction does not affect The Lobotomizer.
If the anniversary event is inactive, the vendors disappear and the dagger cannot be bought. The holiday is held annually, usually closer to November, and lasts about two months, so if you miss the window, you must wait for the next cycle.
It can only be bought during the World of Warcraft anniversary period. Check the in-game calendar ahead of time so you do not miss the event window.
Stockpile 2 Marks of Honor in advance: the easiest way to get them is in regular battleground matches before the holiday begins.
Timewarped Badges are most convenient to farm right in the "Korrak's Revenge" battles, gathering currency for the vendor's other rewards at the same time.
If you want the full paired look, grab both The Lobotomizer and the Sparkling Dagger in a single trip to the vendor, since both blades are sold by the same NPC.
The appearance is saved to your collection forever after the first purchase, so you only need to buy the dagger once on any character of the right faction.
Keep the faction split in mind: the Alliance and the Horde buy the dagger from different vendors, but the appearance in the collection is shared across the whole account.
If the event has already ended, do not waste time looking for the vendors. Wait for the next anniversary, or obtain the same model through the classic version of the item.
