Get The Lost Kris of Zedd

The Lost Kris of Zedd is a one-handed dagger of rare quality that entered the game alongside the opening of the Ahn'Qiraj raid dungeons in the Classic expansion. It is a short kris blade with a wavy edge in the characteristic silithid style: you can recognize it by its curved edge and dark hilt, echoing the rest of the qiraji bug gear.

The item's name is a pop-culture reference: a "kris" is a real type of Asian dagger with a wavy blade, while "Zedd" adds the flair of a lost artifact to the piece. In the Russian localization the item is called "Poteryannyy kris Zedda."

The kris is obtained in the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj — an open twenty-player raid dungeon whose entrance lies in southern Silithus. This is outdated content: a modern character clears the entire raid solo with ease, so no group is required to obtain the dagger.

The item has several sources:

• The main owner is Major Yeggeth, an elite humanoid silithid inside the raid. The kris drops from him noticeably more often than from rank-and-file enemies.
• The dagger also drops from the raid's regular mobs — for example, from the Silicate Feeder and the Shrieker Scarab. The drop chance from such a mob is low, around 0.2%, so you shouldn't count on a quick acquisition.

There is no attempt limit: the raid resets once a week, but in a single visit you can clear out every mob and collect everything that drops. If the kris doesn't drop, just wait for the reset and go in again.

The raid entrance coordinate:

• Suits looks in the style of silithid bugs and insects: dark chitinous armor, bone and sandy tones.
• Pairs well with light leather or cloth armor, where a bulky weapon would look out of place.
• Harmonizes with dark earthy and swampy armor colors thanks to the blade's own muted palette.
