Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.

Vengeful Gladiator's Shiv is a one-handed dagger of epic quality from the PvP reward lineup of Arena Season 3 in the Burning Crusade era. It is a short blade from that season's "gladiator" series: an elongated symmetrical blade with a dark polish, a crossguard of blued steel, and a hilt with an embossed pattern, all kept in a single aesthetic with the plate and cloth sets of the Gladiator's Regalia from the same season.
In terms of combat stats, it is a typical PvP dagger of its time: item level 44, requires character level 30, speed 1.80, bonuses to agility and stamina, plus critical strike, haste, and versatility ratings. Today all these numbers are of interest only to historians — after the transmog system was introduced, only the model and the icon inv_weapon_shortblade_62 matter, that recognizable "gladiator" silhouette of a Burning Crusade-era weapon.
The dagger is part of the "arena-3" PvP line: the same model is used for the blades of Season 1 ("Gladiator's Shiv"), Season 2 ("Merciless Gladiator's Shiv"), and Season 4 ("Brutal Gladiator's Shiv"); they differ only in color palette. The entry with ID 33756 itself is specifically the vengeful, Season 3 one, marked in the tooltip as "Season 3" with the "vengeful" epithet in the canonical Wowhead name.
The dagger was sold by PvP vendors for "arena honor tokens" alongside the rest of the Season 3 gear from the Burning Crusade era. Access to the purchase required the personal and team arena rating of that season, with the specific thresholds for weapons depending on the slot and difficulty. Once the season ended, the vendors' inventory was replaced with the next season's weapons, and the old gear became unavailable for purchase.
If the "vengeful" variant was not kept — the model is still available in the wardrobe through same-type daggers from other seasons of the same generation (see the "Alternatives" section). They differ in color but use the same blade geometry.
Before planning a "farm," check the wardrobe tab on your rogue, hunter, shaman, and druid — if any of your characters played in Burning Crusade, the dagger may have been kept in their bank.
Binds on pickup: even if a copy is found on an alt, you will no longer be able to transfer it to your main character — you need to unlock the model with the very character who holds it.
Unlocking the model in the transmog system reveals the appearance only for class-appropriate characters — daggers are worn by rogues, druids, shamans, hunters, mages, and priests; for other classes the entry will not appear in the collection.
On modern realms there are no equivalents of Burning Crusade seasonal gear on sale: not with the current season's honor vendors, nor in PvP "legacy" — it is a dead end, do not waste your time.
If you need the appearance for a specific look and the original was not kept — on modern World of Warcraft Classic Burning Crusade realms the seasonal vendor entries were temporarily available for purchase; but on the main version of the game, entry 33756 is restored to the collection only from old inventory.
Alongside the search for the dagger, it makes sense to also check the same-type PvP weapons of Seasons 1, 2, and 4 of the same generation — they share the geometry, and if even one copy was kept, the model in the wardrobe will unlock.
To complete the "arena-3" look in full, you will also need the armor of the Gladiator's Regalia series from the same season — the dagger plays the role of a neat addition there, not a centerpiece.
