The model is built on the Sunblood weapons from the Sunwell Plateau raid: the familiar elven profile is recolored here into cold void tones — deep purple, smoky black, and rare sparks of dark energy running along the blade.

The dagger belongs to the void weapon family and suits any specialization that uses one-handed daggers: rogues, mages, priests, warlocks, druids, and shamans. Its silhouette is neutral in look, so it sits equally well in a rogue's outfit or a caster's set.

Don't confuse it with Void-Touched Shank — that is a different dagger from a cosmetic reward of the Visions of N'Zoth era, with its own model and source.

The Void-Touched Dagger is a cosmetic reward from a world event introduced in patch 12.0.5. The dagger itself does not drop directly: it comes inside the Cache of Void-Touched Weapons container, which grants a random void weapon appearance not yet unlocked in your collection.

How the purchase works:

• The cache grants a random void weapon appearance you don't already have — you cannot target the dagger specifically.
• The weapon cache pool holds around two dozen appearances, so it may take several purchases before the dagger itself drops.
• The appearance is bound to your account's transmog collection: once you unlock the dagger, you get it for all characters.

How the currencies are earned:

• Field Accolade is awarded for completing the event and the Ritual Grounds: from the field pouch after a Void strike, from weekly tasks, and for a high final score on the grounds.
• Voidlight Marl is farmed in Midnight zones — world quests give around 150 per completion, rare elite enemies drop it on the first kill of the week, and high-level Ritual Grounds award 500–600 per clear.
