Weight of Command — Transmog Set Guide

Weight of Command is an epic one-handed mace added to World of Warcraft with the Midnight expansion. The model belongs to the weapon set of the Voidspire raid: a heavy mace head with faceted inlays and a muted purple-black Void glow that echoes the dungeon's overall color theme.

The mace carries the Intellect stat, so as an actual gear piece it is used by classes that work with one-handed weapons and Intellect: paladins, druids, priests, shamans, monks, and Keepers. For transmogrification, the appearance is available to any class that can wield one-handed maces.

The item's value lies precisely in its appearance. By the current Midnight season, gear of this level is no longer top-tier in power, and players farm the mace for the look it brings to their sets.

Weight of Command drops from Imperator Averzian — the first of the six bosses of the Voidspire raid.

• The raid belongs to the first Midnight season and is tuned for level 90.
• The dungeon entrance is located in the central part of the zone: /way #2405 45.5 64.4.
• The mace drops on all four raid difficulties. The item level depends on the chosen difficulty: 233 in Raid Finder, 246 on Normal, 259 on Heroic, and 272 on Mythic. The appearance is identical, however — any difficulty will do for transmog.
• This is the first boss, so reaching it is quick: you don't need to clear the whole raid to get a chance at the drop.
• Loot from raid bosses refreshes once a week per character within the weekly lockout, but you can enter the raid and try your luck as many times as you like — the limit only applies to guaranteed rewards.

The appearance is counted as learned once the item lands in your bags, even if you never equipped it. After that, the mace can be sold or scrapped — the look will remain in your collection.

There are no separate confirmed recolors with different names for this mace: the Weight of Command appearance is the same across all difficulties of the Voidspire raid, from Raid Finder to Mythic mode. You only need to obtain the item on any one of them.
