Aln'hara Pikestaff is an epic two-handed polearm, a staff with agility stats, added to World of Warcraft in the Midnight expansion. It belongs to the haranir equipment set: an elongated shaft of pale wood wreathed in slender branches and foliage, with a finial resembling an opened bud that gives off a faint natural glow. The palette is calm — warm wood, jade green, and pastel accents — evoking the aesthetic of the haranir people and their bond with the Light and nature.
The staff is built for specializations that use agility: druids, hunters, and monks can all choose it. Its item level is 246, and it requires character level 90. Within a single appearance family this is the "agility" variant; it has mirror siblings tailored to other roles, covered below.
The Aln'hara Pikestaff is a crafted item. It is created by the inscription profession from a blueprint in the matching specialization. The source is confirmed by the recipe page on Wowhead and by a dedicated inscription guide for Midnight.
To assemble it, the inscription recipe requires the following reagents:
The finished staff becomes soulbound on acquisition, so you can order it via a work order from a scribe using your own reagents, but only you will be able to wield it. The item's icon is done in the haranir dungeon style, yet this weapon does not drop inside the dungeon itself — the only path to it is through crafting.
Stock up on Spark in advance: it is the limiting reagent of Midnight crafting, and without it the recipe cannot be assembled.
Majestic Hide drops rarely (about one material per twenty kills of revered beasts), so plan your farming ahead or buy it at the auction house.
If you lack the professions yourself, place a work order with a scribe — you can supply your own reagents and pay only for the labor.
Remember that the staff becomes soulbound on acquisition: you cannot resell the finished item, only the reagents and the recipe circulate.
For a full "set" of one visual style, gather several items of the Aln'hara family at once for different slots and roles.
Take the agility variant for druids, hunters, and monks; for casters, plan straight for the Aln'hara Cane — the model is the same.
The appearance is not tied to a specific season and does not leave the game, so you can stretch out farming the reagents without rushing.
