Anu-Azshara, Staff of the Eternal — Transmog Set Guide

Anu-Azshara, Staff of the Eternal is a two-handed staff for every intellect specialization: priests, mages, warlocks, shamans, druids, monks and evokers. The weapon arrived in the Battle for Azeroth expansion alongside the Eternal Palace raid (patch 8.2) and is built around a distinct Nazjatar aesthetic: a twisted haft adorned with shell and coral motifs, crowned with turquoise and gold crystals that radiate the cold glow of the naga's underwater palace.

The staff was conceived as the trophy of the raid's final fight, which makes it sought after by transmog collectors: the silhouette is instantly recognizable, and the glowing crystals keep the model noticeable even from a distance. A character wields it like a classic long staff, so the look suits a mage or priest building a fantasy around the sea and naga magic.

The staff drops from Queen Azshara, the final boss of the The Eternal Palace raid in the underwater zone of Nazjatar.

• The source is personal loot from Queen Azshara, the last of the raid's eight bosses.
• The drop chance is low, estimated by players at around 2 percent, so the farm stretches over several weeks.
• The staff drops on every raid difficulty, so for transmog you can simply kill the boss wherever it is fastest, usually on Looking for Raid or Normal difficulty.
• Loot from the final boss is not capped by a personal weekly lock on the item itself: running it once a week on several characters increases your number of attempts.
• In the Midnight expansion (level cap 90) the raid counts as outdated and can be soloed, so no group coordination is needed to obtain the staff.
