Arathi Holy Standard — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Arathi Holy Standard is an epic-quality two-handed staff introduced in The War Within. It is a polearm-style weapon with a glowing sun-disc finial and a woven pennant, finished in a cream-and-gold palette with a warm inner glow. The model belongs to the "street" gear family of the Arathi of the Ringing Deeps — the same visual range worn by the light-bearing defenders of the Beledar's Light Arathi faction.
The weapon is meant as a reward from delves and is interesting first and foremost for its look. The staff's combat stats lost any meaning for current play long ago, so people collect it for its appearance: the clean "priestly" silhouette with a holy finial is prized by transmog collectors rather than item-level hunters.
Source
The staff drops from the
Hidden Trove — a prize chest that appears at the end of a delve. The chest does not spawn on its own: for it to materialize after you finish a tier 4 difficulty delve or higher, you must use the
Delver's Bounty in advance.
The sequence for obtaining it is as follows.
- Run promising delves and stockpile precious remains in them.
- The Delver's Bounty is activated with the accumulated remains — it marks the next delve with a reward chest.
- Complete a tier 4 difficulty delve or higher to the end, after which the Hidden Trove will appear nearby.
- Open the chest — the staff is part of the shared loot pool alongside other gear, currency, and curiosities.
The source is not tied to a specific zone or boss: delves are scattered across the lands of The War Within, and the reward chest works in any of them. The staff drop is not guaranteed — it is one of many items in the loot table, so rely on regular treasure farming rather than a single run.
Who it suits visually
- Pairs with the light-bearing cloth sets of the Arathi — the staff's golden-cream range echoes the armor palette of the Beledar's Light Arathi.
- Harmonizes with priest and mage looks in white and gold: the holy finial reads as a sacred symbol.
- Stands out against dark warlock sets — a debatable but expressive trick for those building a "light versus darkness" image.
- Fits paladin and Light-servant concepts thanks to the sun disc on the finial.
Tips
Farm promising delves in series: the precious remains for the prize chest accumulate precisely there.
Keep the Delver's Bounty ready and use it right before entering, so the Hidden Trove appears upon completion.
Take a tier 4 difficulty delve or higher — at a lower difficulty the reward chest will not appear.
You can enter solo: delves are designed for single-player runs with the companion Brann, no separate group needed.
One reward chest per run — plan a series of delves rather than a single dash for one drop.
The staff is part of the chest's shared loot table, so the same farming can net you other items and currency along the way.
The appearance is account-bound: a transmog obtained once becomes available to all your characters through the appearances collection.
