Arcana Shard Spire is an epic two-handed staff added to World of Warcraft in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. It is a magical weapon for staff users: priests, mages, warlocks, shamans, druids, and monks. The head of the staff is crowned with a large faceted crystal set in a dark metal frame, while runes and energy veins run along the shaft.

This is a cosmetic item: it has no stats, and its value lies solely in its appearance. The model belongs to the Draenor challenge weapon set — a unified style with a cold blue-violet palette that connects all rewards for completing the challenges on gold.

The staff's main feature is its rarity. The appearance is granted exclusively for the «Challenge Warlord: Gold» achievement, and the challenges themselves were removed from the game long ago. Only those who completed this achievement back during Warlords of Draenor can obtain the staff today.

The staff is a reward for the «Challenge Warlord: Gold» achievement. To earn it, you had to clear all of the Draenor challenge dungeons with a gold rating — that is, to beat the strictest time limit on each of the expansion's eight dungeons.

After completing the achievement, the appearance could be purchased from a vendor for 1000 gold:

• For the Alliance — from Challenger Savina in the garrison capital of Stormshield.
• For the Horde — from Challenger Sunforge in the garrison capital of Warspear.

The key catch: the Draenor challenges were removed from the game along with the patch that closed out the expansion. Earning the Challenge Warlord: Gold achievement is no longer possible. If you didn't manage to complete it in its time, the staff is unavailable — there is no workaround.

For those who did earn the achievement, things became easier in the Legion expansion: the appearance can be unlocked account-wide all at once by buying the «Arsenal: Draenor Challenger's Armaments» bundle from the same vendors. The bundle unlocks all eighteen Draenor gold challenge weapon appearances at once, including this staff.
