Balanced Heartseeker — Transmog Set Guide

Balanced Heartseeker is a heirloom one-handed dagger built for rogue specializations. It is a light, elegant blade with a narrow edge and a forged crossguard: the classic stiletto-dagger silhouette without any flashy ornamentation. The model uses a basic gray-steel texture, so the weapon looks clean and understated — no glow, runes, or effects.

The heirloom item in its current form was added in the Warlords of Draenor expansion, when heirlooms moved into a dedicated collection tab. Before that, the same model was used on the related daggers of the "Heartseeker" series from earlier expansions. For transmogrification, only one thing matters: the appearance is unlocked permanently the moment you buy the dagger and stays available to every rogue on the account.

The dagger is bound to account, so you cannot hand it to another player. You can, however, create a copy of the item for free on any of your own characters through the collections window — heirlooms are designed so that a dagger bought once works for the entire account.

The Balanced Heartseeker is a heirloom item bought with gold from heirloom vendors in the capital cities. Drops, professions, and quests have nothing to do with it: the dagger is simply purchased from a shop and goes straight into your collection.

Vendors by faction:

• Horde — Estelle Gendry, the heirloom keeper. She is found in Orgrimmar on the gatehouse platform of the main entrance, and she also sells the same selection in Undercity.
• Alliance — Krom Stoutarm, the heirloom keeper. He is found in Ironforge in the Hall of Explorers.

How to obtain the appearance:

• Walk up to your faction's heirloom vendor and open their selection.
• Find the dagger in the weapons section and buy it with gold.
• After purchase, the item is automatically added to the "Heirlooms" tab in the collections window (hotkey Shift+P).
• The dagger's appearance is unlocked in the appearance collection and becomes available for transmogrification by any rogue on the account.

The dagger requires no reputation, achievements, or character level to buy — all you need is gold. That makes it one of the most accessible ways to get a clean dagger appearance.

Alternative Currency

Besides the usual gold purchase, the same heirloom dagger is sold by Dame Evniki Kapsalis at the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown. Her selection is aimed at players farming Champion's Seals and reputation with the Silver Vanguard, and it comes in handy when you have less gold than seasonal rewards.
