Battleworn Thrash Blade is an account-bound heirloom one-handed sword. It's a classic straight steel blade with no glow or effects: a simple crossguard, an even edge, a gray-steel palette. In look and character it echoes the old Thrash Blade from the original game — right down to its signature property: melee attacks can strike twice.

As an heirloom, it scales with the character's level and is used primarily for leveling, but its appearance is also available for transmogrification on any character on the account. Its calm "vanilla" silhouette makes the sword a convenient base for looks in the spirit of the early expansions.

The blade is sold by heirloom vendors for gold. Buying it on one character unlocks the appearance for the entire account.
