Betrayer's Cinderblade — Transmog Set Guide

Betrayer's Cinderblade is a one-handed dagger of epic quality from the Dragonflight expansion. The blade belongs to the Emerald Dream raid model: a dark edge with smoldering veins and a hilt wrapped in charred branches. The silhouette is instantly recognizable thanks to the blend of natural motifs with a fiery glow — a legacy of the final Dragonflight patch dedicated to the awakening of Amirdrassil and the fight against the flames of Fyrakk.

Betrayer's Cinderblade drops in the Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid — the final raid of the Dragonflight expansion, released in patch 10.2.

• The dagger is obtained from the eighth boss of the raid — Tindral Sageswift.
• According to Wowhead, the drop chance from this fight is around 31% on the rogue specializations the item is available for.
• The item drops on all raid difficulties — from Raid Finder to Mythic. The model's appearance is the same across every difficulty, so any of them works for your transmog collection.
• There is no attempt limit: you can visit the raid every week until the dagger drops.

Tindral Sageswift is a master of transformation who shifts between humanoid, owlbear, and charred treant forms over the course of the fight, and forces the group to mount dragons between phases. Because of this, the encounter is considered one of the most demanding in the raid: only well-prepared players on durable specializations like Protection Paladin solo it. The rest of Amirdrassil is noticeably easier to farm solo, so the path to Tindral usually causes no trouble.

The dagger uses the Emerald Dream raid model. This model has a recolor with a near-identical silhouette and related blades from the same raid:

• Cruel Dreamcarver — another agility dagger from Amirdrassil, dropped by Igira the Cruel with a chance of around 30%. A handy backup if the dagger stubbornly refuses to drop from Tindral.
• Sickle of the White Stag — a dagger of the same raid model, but in an intellect variant; obtained from the Council of Dreams. A good pick if you want to collect several blades of the same style at once for different characters.

The Betrayer's Cinderblade has no separate collectible "recolor" of its own — all three of the listed blades belong to the same set of Emerald Dream raid models and differ mainly in hue and stats.

• Looks for arsonists and pyromancers — the blade's smoldering veins echo fiery effects and red-orange armor.
• Sets themed around the corruption of the Emerald Dream — the dagger fits naturally alongside other Amirdrassil loot and nature-dark sets.
• Dark rangers and assassins — the muted blade with pinpoint glow pairs well with leather sets in black-and-charcoal tones.
• Paired daggers for a rogue — taken together with the Cruel Dreamcarver, giving a symmetrical pair of blades in the same style.
