Get Blackrock Executioner
Overview

The
Blackrock Executioner is a polearm appearance styled after the Blackrock clan. It is a heavy axe-like poleaxe with a massive serrated blade on a long haft, finished in a dark charcoal-steel palette with glowing orange veins. The flavor text sets the mood: "The deadly weapons of the Blackrock clan are as harsh as the heat from the forges of their citadel."
Technically this is not a weapon with stats but a separate illusion: the item grants a decorative effect and binds to your account, adding the appearance to your account-wide transmogrification collection. It suits every class that wields polearms: warriors, death knights, paladins, demon hunters, and druids.
Source
The appearance is sold at the Trading Post for 150 Trader's Tender. The Trading Post is a monthly reward system: each month the selection of goods refreshes, and tender is awarded for completing entries on your monthly travel log.
- Trader's Tender is earned for free: simply complete the activities from the monthly list to fill the bar.
- Over a single month you can stockpile well over 150 tender, so buying the appearance requires no real-money purchase.
- The appearance binds to your account, so you only need to buy it once — it becomes available to every character on the account.
- If the item is not in the current selection, you can add it to your wish list: the Trading Post rotation periodically brings back past goods.
Who It Suits Visually
- It harmonizes with plate sets in dark steel and charcoal tones — completing the look of a Blackrock clan warrior.
- It complements sets with fiery accents thanks to the glowing veins on the blade.
- It contrasts with the bright armor of paladins, creating the look of a "fallen knight" or a mercenary.
- It fits forge and infernal concepts that call for a rough, utilitarian weapon with no magical glow.
Tips
Check the Trading Post at the start of each month: the selection refreshes, and the appearance you want may show up in the current rotation.
Fill the monthly travel log bar to the end — this reliably earns you more than 500 Trader's Tender per month, easily covering the price of 150.
If the appearance is not currently on sale, add it to your wish list through the Trading Post interface.
It is best to make the purchase on any character: the tender and the appearance itself are shared across the whole account.
Spend your tender first on limited-rotation goods, and buy back permanent items when they return.
