Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.

Blade of Wizardry is an intellect one-handed sword added to World of Warcraft in The Burning Crusade expansion. It is one of the few one-handed weapons with caster stats in early TBC: a straight blade of classic shape with a clean crossguard and a dark hilt in the style of the basic sword model. The weapon suits classes that use one-handed swords and cast spells — mages, warlocks, priests, and melee shamans.
As a transmog, the blade is valued for its clean, recognizable "classic sword" silhouette without excessive decoration, which easily fits into austere caster looks. The item also has an effect that increases speed from attacking spells, but for transmog only the model matters.
The sword is obtained in the Karazhan raid — the iconic Burning Crusade dungeon in Deadwind Pass. The appearance source is the raid mob Syphoner, a serpent among the tower's servants.
The most reliable method is to enter Karazhan solo, kill the Syphoner, and reset the raid for another run. If you do not want to farm manually, check the auction house: before being worn, the sword is freely sold.
Enter Karazhan solo and reset the raid after clearing to quickly repeat attempts to kill the Syphoner.
Before farming, check the auction house: until worn the sword is tradeable, and buying it may turn out faster than manual farming.
Do not equip the item if you plan to resell or pass it on — once worn it becomes soulbound.
The drop chance is low, so plan a series of runs or aim straight for the auction house.
At max level 90 Karazhan is cleared solo on any class, which makes the farm independent of a group.
The spell speed effect does not matter for transmog — focus only on the sword model.
The sword is equally suitable for all classes that use intellect one-handed swords, so you can farm it on whichever character needs the appearance.
