Get Bloodied Arcanite Reaper
Overview

Bloodied Arcanite Reaper is a two-handed axe, an heirloom version of the legendary Classic
Arcanite Reaper. It is the same massive serrated battleaxe with a broad steel-colored blade, but here the blade is coated in dried, caked blood — hence the name. Its silhouette is instantly recognizable: this is the axe most associated with early WoW and the iconic cinematics of those years.
The weapon is an heirloom item, so it is account-bound and immediately available to all of your characters. The appearance is unlocked in your transmogrification collection after purchase, and you no longer need to keep the item itself in your bags.
For transmog it suits any class that wields two-handed axes: warriors, paladins, death knights, enhancement shamans, and demon hunters.
Source
The Bloodied Arcanite Reaper is sold for gold by the heirloom keepers in the capital cities. It is not a drop and not a craft — you simply visit the vendor and buy the axe directly.
The vendors for each faction.
- Alliance: Krom Stoutarm in Ironforge, the Hall of Explorers.
- Horde: Estelle Gendry at the gates of Orgrimmar.

The purchase is one-time: once acquired, the appearance is permanently tied to your account. The item itself can be safely deleted — the look remains in your collection.
Who it suits visually
- It looks great in "old-school" looks and Nordic barbarian sets thanks to its rough, forged shape.
- The bloodied texture of the blade harmonizes with dark-red and black armor — for example, under death knight sets.
- It contrasts with the bright plate of a paladin, lending the look a sinister edge.
- It fits the berserker warrior concept: the massive battleaxe visually emphasizes a power-based fighting style.
Tips
The axe is bought for gold; no reputation or currency is needed — you can reach the vendor right after learning the riding profession or via the capital city portals.
The appearance is account-bound, so there is no need to buy it again on other characters.
After the purchase, open your transmogrification collection and make sure the appearance is unlocked — then you can remove the item from your bags.
If you play Alliance, the most convenient option is to teleport to Ironforge; the keeper stands in the Hall of Explorers next to the other heirloom vendors.
For the Horde, the vendor is located up top, by the gates of Orgrimmar — climb the ramps from the city's main entrance.
The base forged appearance and the heirloom variants use the same model, so when putting together a look you can pick whichever suits you by availability and color.
