Get Bloomforged Greataxe
Overview

Bloomforged Greataxe is an epic two-handed axe added to World of Warcraft in the Midnight expansion. It is a massive weapon with a broad blade cut through with a floral pattern and a greenish-gold finish along the back of the head — the model nods to the natural, "overgrown" aesthetic of the elven lands around Silvermoon.
The axe suits warriors, paladins, and demon hunters — every specialization that wields two-handed weapons. By its stats it is an item level 246 piece requiring character level 90, but for transmog it is the model that matters: a clean silhouette without excess spikes or neon effects makes it a handy base for "natural" and knightly looks.
Source
The Bloomforged Greataxe does not drop ready-made — it is crafted with the Blacksmithing profession from a plan.
Plans: Bloomforged Greataxe drop from bosses in The Voidspire raid. The main source is Vorasius, the raid's second boss.- The raid is located in the The Voidspire zone and is available on Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties.
- Crafting requires Blacksmithing level 50 in the Midnight branch.
- The reagents include bars and alloys from the current expansion, among them
Tormented Tantalum and
Dazzling Thorium, as well as profession sparks. - The finished axe binds to the character on acquisition, so it is more convenient to craft it on the character who needs the appearance.
Who It Suits Visually
- It fits "natural" sets in green-and-gold tones — plate sets with plant-themed engraving from Midnight content.
- It harmonizes with ivory and warm-gold armor — for example, knightly and paladin looks from Silvermoon.
- It contrasts with dark obsidian armor — a debatable but striking choice for "light versus the Void" themes.
- It looks great in the hands of druidic or nature-themed characters thanks to the floral blade.
Tips
The plan drops from raid bosses, so it is easier to farm it as part of a regular raid group or through Raid Finder on a weekly basis.
The drop chance for the plan is low, so plan for several weeks of raid runs.
The crafting reagents are easier to buy on the auction house than to gather yourself — Midnight bars and alloys are cheap in the middle of the season.
If you do not have your own blacksmith, order the craft from another player: it is enough to hand them the reagents and request the item.
The axe binds to the character, so plan the craft around the specific hero who needs the appearance.
A single raid run gives a chance not only at this plan but also at other crafting plans from the same bosses — collect them in parallel.
