Overview

Абордажная дубина вышибалы

Game iconBoarder's Billy Club is a one-handed mace from the Battle for Azeroth expansion. It is a crude bludgeoning weapon in the spirit of the Kul Tiran pirates: a short, massive handle and a weighted metal head that nods to the dockside thugs and smugglers of Boralus. The model is done in a dark steel palette with worn detailing, so the mace looks great in "dirty", down-to-earth looks rather than in dress-up sets.

The weapon suits classes that use one-handed maces: warriors, paladins, shamans, druids, rogues, and priests. Its appearance is unlocked in your transmog collection as soon as you obtain the item, after which you can transmog any suitable one-handed bludgeoning weapon.

Source

The mace drops in the Siege of Boralus dungeon from the first boss of the Alliance version — Chopper Redhook.

  • The dungeon is located in Boralus, the capital of Kul Tiras, and is available in Normal, Heroic, and Mythic modes.
  • The item is bound on pickup, so you cannot pass it to another character — the transmog unlocks only for the one who got the drop.
  • The drop chance is low, like that of regular green and blue loot from a boss, so several runs may be required.
  • There is no limit on the number of attempts: you can run the dungeon as often as every day.

An important note: the appearance and lineup of the first bosses in Siege of Boralus depends on your faction. Chopper Redhook opens the Alliance version of the route, so it is Alliance players who are guaranteed to meet him as the first boss. On Heroic and Mythic difficulty the route is fixed, which makes targeted farming easier.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It harmonizes with the dark leather and mail sets of Battle for Azeroth in the style of Kul Tiran sailors and pirates.
  • It fits well with rogue or warrior-thug looks thanks to its crude, weighted shape.
  • It contrasts strikingly with a paladin's bright "ceremonial" plate — a debatable but memorable choice.
  • It pairs well with shields and off-hand weapons in a nautical or rusty-steel palette.

Tips

1

It is best to farm the mace on Heroic or Mythic difficulty: the route is fixed and Chopper Redhook is guaranteed to be the first boss.

2

The most convenient way to go for the appearance is on an Alliance character — the Alliance version of the dungeon opens directly for them.

3

At level 90 the dungeon can be cleared solo without trouble, so farming does not require a group.

4

If the drop is not coming, combine your runs with farming other appearances from Siege of Boralus — that way the run won't be wasted.

5

Check the appearances you've already collected before going in so you don't waste time on duplicates.

6

The item is bound on pickup, so you should farm it on the character who needs the appearance.

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
