Get Chakram-Breaker Greatsword
Overview

Chakram-Breaker Greatsword is a two-handed sword from the Warlords of Draenor expansion, styled after the Arakkoa aesthetic of the Skyreach dungeon. The blade is assembled from golden-bronze plates with carved "feather" edges that echo the weapons of the Arakkoa and their bladed chakram discs.
The sword requires level 40, so it has long been irrelevant for combat. It is valued as a transmog: the warm bronze-and-gold model with its predatory silhouette fits feathered and solar looks well and stands out recognizably from the typical two-handers of this range.
Source
The sword drops in the Skyreach dungeon.
- It is obtained from the boss Ranjit — the first opponent of the Skyreach dungeon in the Spires of Arak.
- The drop chance hovers around 10–11% per kill, so it often takes several runs.
- The sword becomes soulbound on pickup, so it cannot be passed to another character — you have to farm it on the hero who needs the appearance.
- Skyreach is part of the Mythic+ dungeon rotation for the first season of Midnight, so the dungeon is currently run actively and is easy to get into.
- Any difficulty works for transmog: the appearance unlocks from the dropped item regardless of mode.
- Ranjit stands at the start of the dungeon, so when farming this sword specifically you can reset and kill only the first boss.
Who It Suits Visually
- It suits Arakkoa and "solar" looks — the bronze-and-gold finish echoes the theme of the Spires of Arak.
- It harmonizes with a warm armor palette: gold, ochre and brown tones reinforce the feather motif.
- It contrasts with cold silvery armor, serving as a bright warm accent on your back.
- It is great for hunter, warrior and death knight looks that need a large exotic blade without the typical "knightly" appearance.
Tips
The fastest way to farm is to enter Skyreach and kill only Ranjit, then reset the dungeon and repeat.
Since this is a Mythic+ dungeon of the current season, the easiest way in is through the group finder tool or with friends.
At level 90 the dungeon on Normal and Heroic difficulty is cleared extremely fast, and farming the appearance takes mere minutes per run.
The sword is soulbound, so collect the appearance on the very character who needs it — you can't transfer it from an alt.
If the sword refuses to drop for a long time, gather the rest of Skyreach's Arakkoa loot along the way for a themed set.
It is most convenient to farm on classes with high mobility and strong single-target damage — they finish off the first boss faster than anyone.
