Get Chaos Blaster
Overview

Chaos Blaster is an uncommon-quality ranged firearm added in the Legion expansion. It is a compact engineered gun with a distinctive "homemade" silhouette: a dark frame, protruding tubes and parts that betray the hand of a tinkering inventor.
The appearance suits hunters and anyone who carries a firearm in the ranged slot, and it looks great in goblin-engineering outfits. Despite the item's modest in-game level, as a transmog it is a fully self-contained gun model that is easy to obtain at almost any level.
The weapon is sold for gold by an engineering vendor, so there is no need to farm it: just reach the right NPC and buy the ready-made appearance.
Source
The Chaos Blaster is a stock item from an engineering vendor rather than a boss drop. You can buy it in Dalaran above the Broken Isles.
- The vendor is Hobart Grapplehammer, labeled "Engineering Supplies."
- The location is the city of Dalaran, the crafters' quarter, at approximate coordinates 38, 25.
- The item becomes soulbound on purchase, so buy it on the character who needs the appearance.
- There is no quantity limit: you can buy as many copies as you like.
Hobart Grapplehammer stands alongside the other crafting vendors in the upper part of the city. To buy his full engineering stock, it is handy to have the Engineering profession, but any character can reach the vendor himself.
Visual Fit
- It fits engineering and goblin-mechanical looks perfectly thanks to its "assembled from parts" silhouette.
- It pairs well with dark-toned leather and mosaic hunter sets.
- It suits the "inventor" or "mercenary with a homemade weapon" concept.
- It contrasts with elven and nature-themed sets — a debatable but memorable choice.
Tips
Before buying, make sure the character has enough gold: the price of about 21 gold is affordable even at low levels.
The appearance is available at almost any level, so it is convenient to stock up on your first visit to Dalaran in the Legion era.
If you want the whole set of engineering guns, buy them in one trip — they are all sold by the same vendor.
For a hunter, this is a cheap way to fill the ranged slot with a stylish appearance without farming raids.
Get the appearance on the character who needs it: once purchased, the item becomes soulbound and cannot be traded.
If you are leveling Engineering, Hobart Grapplehammer's stock is useful not only for transmog but also for profession consumables.
