Get Charged Invoker
Overview

Charged Invoker is a two-handed bludgeoning weapon added to World of Warcraft with the The War Within expansion. It is a staff-mace for classes that use Intellect as their primary stat: Priest, Mage, Warlock, Druid, and Shaman in their magic specializations.
The model is designed in the dungeon style of the earthen people: a massive head topped with crystals and an energetic glow, kept in the earthy-turquoise palette of the deep halls of Khaz Algar. The silhouette reads as a "magic staff-hammer" — a hefty head on a long handle, which makes it a striking choice for casters who want a weapon with weight rather than a slender wand.
Since it is a crafted item, you can obtain its appearance reliably without relying on drop luck — all you need is a blacksmith with the right specialization.
Source
The appearance is obtained through crafting. The weapon is made by a blacksmith who has mastered Khaz Algar Blacksmithing.
- Profession: Blacksmithing from the current expansion, The War Within.
- The recipe
Plans: Charged Invoker is learned automatically when you invest points into the specialization tree — there is no need to buy it separately. - Specialization path: "Weaponsmithing" → "Hafted Weapons" (10 points) → "Bludgeoning Weapons" (15 points). After 15 points in the bludgeoning weapons branch, the recipe unlocks on its own.
- The finished item can be crafted repeatedly without limits, so you can obtain the appearance at any time as long as there is a blacksmith with the right specialization.
- If you don't have your own blacksmith with this branch, order the crafting from another player through a work order, providing the reagents.
For transmog, only the fact of crafting the item matters: the quality (number of stars) does not affect the appearance, so there is no need to chase maximum quality for the look.
Who It Suits Visually
- It harmonizes with sets in the style of the earthen people and the deep halls of Khaz Algar thanks to the shared stone-and-crystal texture.
- It fits well into looks with an earthy-turquoise and aquamarine color scheme.
- It suits casters who want a "weighty" weapon silhouette instead of a slender wand — for example, for battle priest and shaman looks.
- It pairs with plate and mail armor featuring mineral accents, emphasizing the earth element theme.
- It contrasts with the light cloth sets of mages — a debatable but expressive choice for those who want to "add weight" to their look.
Tips
If you are a blacksmith yourself, allocate your specialization points along the "Bludgeoning Weapons" branch in advance — after 15 points the recipe will appear automatically.
No profession of your own — place a work order: many blacksmiths keep this exact branch leveled and gladly take orders.
For the appearance, use the cheapest reagents: item quality does not affect the look.
Craft the item on a caster character so you can immediately try on the appearance in the wardrobe and see how the heavy head looks.
The appearance unlocks for the entire account, so it is enough to craft the weapon once.
If you plan to level Blacksmithing for several weapon types, the bludgeoning weapons branch is a convenient starting point, as it immediately unlocks a noticeable caster appearance.
