Overview

Заряженный рассекатель

Game iconCharged Slicer is a one-handed axe added to World of Warcraft in the The War Within expansion (patch 11.0.2). It is a crafted Blacksmithing weapon: a broad blade in the style of the Arathor artifacts, along whose edge bluish sparks of charged energy race. The model reads well both in close-up shots and in silhouette.

The axe requires level 80 to equip, but it is interesting first and foremost as a transmog. By type it is a one-handed axe, so the appearance suits classes that wield such weapons: warriors, paladins, death knights, rogues, shamans, monks, and demon hunters.

Source

The axe does not drop from bosses — it is crafted by a blacksmith. To obtain the appearance, you need to gather the recipe, the reagents, and place an order with a character who has Khaz Algar Blacksmithing.

  • The recipe Game iconPlans: Charged Slicer is sold by vendors in the Azj-Kahet and City of Threads zones.
  • The plans cost 150 units of the Game iconArtisan's Acuity currency and 1500 units of the Kej currency.
  • Crafting requires Khaz Algar Blacksmithing of at least skill level 35.
  • The main reagents are charged alloy and consecrated alloy, as well as a crafting spark, an exceptional beast claw, and a storm-soaked weapon wrap.
  • You can buy the reagents at the auction house or gather them yourself if you have leveled up your Khaz Algar gathering professions.
  • The finished axe binds when picked up, so it is best to order the craft directly on the character you need.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It harmonizes with plate sets in a blue-steel palette — the cold glow of the blade reinforces the armor's color.
  • It fits looks themed around the nerubians and the dungeons of Azj-Kahet thanks to its "underground" origin and energetic accent.
  • It contrasts with warm gold and red sets: the blue spark stands out against such armor and draws attention to itself.
  • It looks great paired with a shield or a second one-handed weapon of a similar cold shade.

Tips

1

Before buying the plans, make sure you already have a character with Khaz Algar Blacksmithing at skill level 35 — otherwise the craft will be unavailable.

2

If you do not have your own blacksmith, place an order through the crafting order table: you can pay another player's master and bring your own reagents.

3

Kej currency is convenient to farm in Azj-Kahet on daily quests and zone events.

4

Artisan's Acuity accumulates slowly, so plan your spending on the plans in advance and do not waste it on secondary recipes.

5

Charged and consecrated alloys are cheaper to gather in advance at the auction house during quiet hours, when prices are lower.

6

Since the item is only needed for its appearance, craft the minimum quality version — it does not affect unlocking the transmog.
