Get Chilling Domination Mace

The Chilling Domination Mace is a one-handed mace from the Shadowlands expansion, added in patch 9.2. It is styled after the Jailer's Servants of the Maw: a dark head with spiked edges and a cold bluish sheen, true to the aesthetic of Domination and the Maw.

The mace is available to warriors, death knights, and paladins. Its stats have long been irrelevant, so today it is collected purely for its appearance as a transmog.

The mace drops from the rare elite High Reaver Damaris — one of the rare targets in Zereth Mortis, the zone added in patch 9.2.

• Damaris roams the Endless Sands area in the northeast of the zone. Spawn point: /way Zereth Mortis 63.2 26.0.
• He is a rare elite, not a raid or dungeon boss: he can be killed solo, but he respawns on a timer, so you may need to return to the spot repeatedly.
• The mace's drop chance is low — the community estimates it at around 2-3% per kill, so farming the appearance can take several weeks.
• The drop is not tied to a weekly lockout: you can farm Damaris every time he appears, limited only by the rare elite's respawn timer.

To reach Zereth Mortis, you need to complete the Shadowlands story campaign: hit level 60, join a covenant, and progress through the "Chains of Domination" campaign until the zone opens. On alts, access is sped up via dialogue skips with Bolvar and Tal-Inara in Oribos.

• It looks great on death knight outfits thanks to the grim, "afterlife" styling of the Maw.
