Get Chronospire
Overview

Chronospire is a rare-quality two-handed staff added to World of Warcraft in the Dragonflight expansion (patch 10.1.5). It is a tall staff with a twisted shaft and a crystal finial set in a metal frame, kept in a cool bronze-and-sand palette with a hint of "the flow of time" — a visual nod to the bronze dragons and the theme of chronomancy.
This is a caster staff, with Intellect and Versatility. For transmog it is valued for its clean, "magical" model without excessive effects — it sits well on the looks of mages, priests, warlocks, druids, and shamans.
Source
- The staff is sold by the vendor Shi Everbreeze in the Thaldraszus zone.
- The vendor stands near the Tyrhold Reservoir, alongside the other organizers of the event:
/way Thaldraszus 51.0 56.6 Shi Everbreeze. - Chronospire is bought with the currency from the "Time Rifts" event — it is earned by taking part in the event itself in Thaldraszus.
- There is no tie to gear rating or difficult progression: it is enough to take part in the public event and accumulate the currency.
- The event recurs regularly, so there is no limit on the number of attempts.
The "Time Rifts" event is a Dragonflight public activity: together with other players, you fend off waves of enemies from different eras. Participation grants currency, which is then spent at Shi Everbreeze.
Who it suits visually
- It harmonizes with sets in bronze-gold and sand tones — for example, with looks in the style of the bronze dragonflight.
- It fits the theme of time and chronomancy: appropriate for mage and priest looks with a "temporal" concept.
- It contrasts with the cold blue-purple sets of warlocks — the warm staff brings such a look to life.
- It pairs well with Dragonflight cloth sets thanks to the expansion's shared color logic.
Tips
Head into Thaldraszus at the start of the "Time Rifts" event — the schedule is visible right on the map by the activity icon.
The currency accumulates faster if you run the event in a group: more enemies killed means more rewards.
The first run of the event each week usually gives an increased reward, so don't skip the weekly visit.
Besides "Chronospire," Shi Everbreeze has other weapons too — in a single trip it pays to pick out several appearances at once.
The staff is bound on acquisition, so once you unlock the appearance you can disenchant the item you don't need right away.
The event is most comfortable on casters with fast movement — you manage to finish off targets before they vanish.
