Get Claw of Lo'Gosh
Overview

Claw of Lo'Gosh is a cosmetic one-handed fist weapon added to World of Warcraft in the Dragonflight expansion (patch 10.2.0). It is not a regular weapon with stats but a separate appearance illusion: when used, the item adds its look to your warband's collection, after which it can be applied to any fist weapon through transmogrification.
The model is crafted in a beastly, "primal" style — a curved claw with bone and wooden elements, referencing the ancient wolf Lo'Gosh (Goldrinn). The flavor text emphasizes the lore: "Engraved on its surface is the tale of Lo'Gosh and Omen, written in a long-forgotten Taur-ahe dialect." The appearance fits perfectly into the looks of druids, shamans, and hunters whose theme is tied to wild nature and beast spirits.
Source
The Claw of Lo'Gosh is obtained in the Emerald Dream zone — in the southwestern part of the location. It is not a boss drop but a reward from a cache that opens through a small puzzle near the statue of the Great Wolf.
The mechanic works like this: next to the statue there is an interactive object, Mark of Goldrinn. When you interact with it, you briefly summon the spirit of the wolf. While this spirit accompanies you, the statue of the Great Wolf deems you worthy, and you can open the cache, Boon of Goldrinn, which holds the claw.
Step by step.
- Head to the southwestern part of the Emerald Dream.
- Find and activate the Mark of Goldrinn — approximate coordinates
/way 30.9 80.7(the mark appears at several points in the zone). - With the wolf spirit obtained, reach the statue of the Great Wolf and interact with it.
- Open the cache, Boon of Goldrinn, that appears near
/way 33.0 83.2and claim the Claw of Lo'Gosh.
There are also alternative ways to pass the statue's test: approach it in the form of a wolf spirit (for example, as a shaman with the Ghost Wolf ability or a worgen character), as well as with a suitable "paw" item. Any of these options gives the same result — access to the cache.
The item is account-bound, so once obtained you can unlock the illusion a single time and use the appearance on all characters.
Visually Suited For
- Matches druid sets in a natural, wood-and-bone palette.
- Harmonizes with shaman looks built around the spirits of elements and beasts.
- Looks great on hunters in "wild" sets with fur and leather.
- Contrasts with heavy metal armor — a debatable but striking choice for a feral warrior look.
- Thematically native to characters whose appearance is tied to wolves, Goldrinn, and the Emerald Dream.
Tips
This is an appearance illusion: don't forget to use the item from your bag to add the look to your collection, then apply it through transmogrification.
The Mark of Goldrinn appears at several points in the zone — if it isn't in one spot, check the neighboring coordinates.
The wolf spirit lasts a limited time, so activate the mark near the statue to make it in time to reach and interact with it.
Shamans and worgen have an easier time with the puzzle: the wolf spirit form is credited by the statue directly.
The appearance is account-bound — you only need to unlock it once, and it becomes available to all your characters.
Combine the trip for the claw with farming other Emerald Dream caches so you don't have to return to the zone separately.
Fist weapons are a rare type, and there are few appearances available for them, so the Claw of Lo'Gosh notably expands the options for the relevant specializations.
