Overview

Коготь раскаленного неистовства

Game iconClaw of Molten Fury is an epic fist weapon from The Burning Crusade expansion (patch 2.4.0). It is a curved claw with a glowing fiery-orange blade, designed in an infernal fire palette. The model fits looks built around flame and Burning Legion themes.

The weapon is used by classes that wield fist weapons: rogues, druids, shamans, and monks. The item itself is part of a set of two paired fist blades, which lets you put together a symmetrical look for both hands.

Source

The weapon drops as a rare trophy from trash mobs in the Battle for Mount Hyjal raid — a historic clash in the Caverns of Time from The Burning Crusade expansion.

  • The drop source is the elite mobs between bosses: ghouls, banshees, gargoyles, and other undead of the Scourge.
  • This is not a guaranteed drop from a specific boss, but a rare trophy from trash, so farming may take several runs.
  • There are no limits on killing trash mobs — you can farm as many as the raid allows in a single run.
  • The content belongs to The Burning Crusade and is easily soloable at the current max level.

The raid entrance is in the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. Once you reach the dungeon, choose timewalking difficulty or the old normal mode and clear the waves of mobs between bosses — that is exactly what the weapon drops from.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It harmonizes with sets in an orange-red fire palette — for example, plate and leather sets with a fire theme.
  • It suits rogue and druid looks thanks to the compact clawed model and the glowing blade.
  • It looks great paired with the matching item from the same set — two identical blades reinforce the fiery accent.
  • It contrasts with cold blue-and-white armor — the combination creates a striking opposition of fire and ice.

Tips

1

Farm the weapon on a class with fast pack clearing — for example, a rogue or druid — to kill trash mobs faster.

2

Since the drop comes from trash, it makes sense to run the whole path between bosses rather than skip it.

3

While you are at it, collect the paired item from the set as well — it drops from the same source, and both blades are needed for a symmetrical look.

4

The raid can be re-entered by resetting the dungeon, so you can farm trash packs again within a single day.

5

The drop is rare, so plan for several runs and do not expect to get both blades in one go.

6

Parallel farming on several characters speeds up collection, since each one provides independent drop attempts.
