Get Claw of the Watcher

Claw of the Watcher is a one-handed fist weapon from The Burning Crusade expansion. The model is shaped like a predatory clawed paw with curved bone blades, evoking the undead and the theme of the Auchenai crypts.

This weapon drops on Heroic difficulty and suits classes that use fist weapons: rogues, monks, Enhancement shamans, druids and demon hunters. For transmogrification only the appearance matters — the grim, beastly silhouette of the claw looks great when worn in both hands at once.

The Claw of the Watcher drops from the first boss of the Auchenai Crypts — Shirrak the Dead Watcher. The dungeon is located in Auchindoun, in the south of Terokkar Forest in Outland.

• The weapon drops only on Heroic difficulty of the dungeon; you cannot obtain it on Normal difficulty.
• The drop chance according to Wowhead is around 6–7%, so you will most likely need several runs.
• This is The Burning Crusade level content, so in the current expansion the dungeon can be soloed with ease on any class.
• It binds on pickup and cannot be transferred to another player.
• You can set the Heroic difficulty of old Outland dungeons solo through the difficulty menu; reputation is no longer required to enter.

• It harmonizes with looks built around the themes of undeath, necromancy and dark magic.
• It pairs with armor in bone, earthy and grey-green tones characteristic of Auchenai and draenei motifs.
• It looks good with dark leather and mosaic armor in muted shades, where the claws work as an aggressive accent.
• It suits classes that wield paired fist weapons — two claws reinforce the beastly silhouette.
