Overview

Глефа Облачной Песни

Game iconCloudsong Glaive is a two-handed polearm added to World of Warcraft in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. It is an ethereal glaive with paired curved blades and a translucent blue-and-white glow running along the edges, as if woven from wind and clouds. The haft is slender and elongated, and the finial resembles a wing — hence the "sky-born" name.

As a transmog, the glaive belongs to the prestigious Warlords of Draenor Challenge Mode weapon set: these models could not be bought for gold or looted from bosses — they were granted only for the highest, gold result in the Challenge Modes. Its airy, glowing aesthetic makes the glaive a striking choice for the looks of mystics, the windborn, and sky warriors.

Source

The glaive is one of the rewards for earning the Challenge Warlord: Gold achievement. To obtain it, you had to clear every Warlords of Draenor dungeon in Challenge Mode with a gold rating.

  • The achievement unlocked the ability to purchase the entire Challenge Mode weapon set from special vendors in Stormshield and Warspear.
  • The appearance itself is a transmogrification illusion: using the item adds the model to your warband's collection.
  • The reward is bound to the warband, so once you unlock it, you can use the appearance on every character on the account.

Important: the Warlords of Draenor Challenge Mode closed along with the expansion, and the gold achievement stopped being awarded with it. For this reason, the glaive can no longer be obtained anew — it is available only to those players who managed to earn the gold rating back in the day. There are no new ways to unlock this appearance in Midnight.

Who It Suits Visually

  • It harmonizes with sets in white-and-blue and silver palettes — looks for the windborn and sky warriors.
  • It pairs well with light plate and mail sets featuring feather and wing motifs — for mystic and wind-guardian concepts.
  • It fits the looks of night elves and draenei, where elegant, glowing weapons are valued.
  • It contrasts with the dark armor of the Shadow and the Legion — a debatable but expressive blend of light and gloom.
  • It works as an accent thanks to the translucent glow of the blades, which highlights the silhouette in motion.

Tips

1

The appearance is currently unobtainable anew: check your warband's collection — it may already be unlocked from the Warlords of Draenor days.

2

If the glaive is already in your collection, you can apply it on any character on the account without unlocking it again.

3

The airy blue-and-white model shows off best on looks with light armor and feather elements.

4

For a complete Challenge Mode weapon set look, use the sibling models — the dagger, sword, and mace from the same achievement.

5

Do not look for ways to loot the glaive from bosses or buy it for gold — it has no drop source, only the closed Challenge Mode achievement.

6

This is a polearm, so the glaive applies to specializations that wield polearms in transmogrification.

7

Keep an eye on Blizzard announcements: the Challenge Mode is occasionally discussed in the context of returning rewards, but for now the appearance remains exclusive.
