Dragonstrike is an epic one-handed mace added to World of Warcraft with The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a massive weapon topped with a dragon-head pommel and a distinctive red-and-gold sheen, true to the spirit of Outland weaponcraft. The mace's silhouette is heavy and easy to read, so the appearance looks great in "fiery" and draconic outfits.

The value of this weapon for transmog lies in its rarity. Dragonstrike never dropped from bosses and was never sold: it was forged by Hammersmith blacksmiths, and the recipe itself was removed from the game long ago. As a result, the appearance is uncommon and makes a character stand out from mass-produced sets.

Dragonstrike is the crowning piece of the weapon chain for the Hammersmith blacksmithing specialization within the Blacksmithing profession. To obtain the mace, you had to complete the entire forging sequence.
