Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle — Transmog Set Guide

Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle is an epic two-handed staff added in the Dragonflight expansion alongside its third raid, Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope (patch 10.2). It is an Intellect weapon built for spellcasters: druids, mages, priests, shamans, and warlocks.

Visually, the staff is rendered in the living, natural aesthetic of the Emerald Dream — warm wood interwoven with golden-green threads of energy, topped with a cocoon woven from light. The model echoes the theme of weaving and the cycle of life around which the source boss fight is built. Beyond its appearance, the item carries a unique on-use effect: the staff weaves a "web of dreams" beneath the target, immobilizing it and dealing Nature damage to all nearby enemies.

For collectors, this is first and foremost a rare transmog silhouette: there is no other "living loom" model like it in the game, and it can only be obtained from the raid.

The staff drops from the second-to-last boss, Nymue. The encounter's full name is "Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle"; it is the sixth fight of the raid, located in the "Emerald Weave" wing.

• Raid: Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope, the third raid of the Dragonflight expansion.
• Difficulty: the item drops on all difficulties, including Raid Finder.
• The drop chance is low — this is a very rare cosmetic drop, so farming is built around repeat runs.
• Attempt limit: the raid can be entered once per week per character, so alts speed up the collection.

How to get there. The raid entrance is in the Emerald Dream zone, in its northern part, around coordinates 27, 31. The fastest way is the portal in the capital city of Valdrakken, which takes you to the Emerald Dream, from which you fly to the entrance on a dragon or a regular flying mount. The portal opens after completing the zone's introductory quest chain.

Solo availability today. In the Midnight expansion, the raid can be cleared solo without major obstacles. Patch 12.0.5 removed the main blockers for solo runs: Mythic Fyrakk can now be killed solo, since the Heart of Amirdrassil no longer takes damage, and the Smolderon broodkeeper Diurna is no longer a problem. Legacy loot mode applies to outdated content, so a full loot set drops from every boss.
