Dreamsong Warglaive — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Dreamsong Warglaive is a one-handed warglaive of rare quality with a model in the style of Ardenweald: a curved blade that looks carved from living wood and wrapped in glowing vines. It is a full-fledged weapon with stats, not an appearance illusion, so you can both wield it and collect it for transmog.
Warglaives are demon hunter weapons, and they are the ones who will find this model useful first and foremost. The natural, softly glowing palette makes the blade stand out against the typically aggressive demonic warglaives and fits well into looks tied to forests and spirits.
The model appeared in the Shadowlands expansion alongside the Ardenweald zone. The glaive can be found out in the open world, so obtaining it requires no raids or dungeons.
Source
The Dreamsong Warglaive drops from a world treasure; it is neither bought nor crafted.
- The source is the Dreamsong Heart treasure in the Ardenweald zone.
- The chest sits in the crown of the tallest tree in the Dreamsong Hollow area, at approximate coordinates 37.6, 36.3.
- A bouncy mushroom grows at the foot of the tree: interacting with it launches you upward, toward the branches that hold the treasure.
- The treasure can be opened once per character; you cannot collect it again on the same hero.
The easiest way to reach it is from the nearest flight path or from the Ardenweald spirit healer, then rise to the crown via the bouncy mushroom. Since the zone belongs to Shadowlands and is long outleveled, you usually face no fights along the way.
Who it suits visually
- It suits demon hunters who emphasize a natural rather than demonic aesthetic.
- It harmonizes with green and teal sets themed around nature spirits and Ardenweald.
- It pairs with looks built around the Emerald Dream and druidic motifs.
- It looks striking against dark plate sets, where the glowing vines create a bright accent.
- It works well as a pair: two identical blades in both hands reinforce the plant-like silhouette.
Tips
The treasure is one-time only: if you need the transmog on several characters, you will have to collect it with each hero separately.
For a quick ascent to the crown, use the bouncy mushroom at the base of the tree rather than trying to climb the branches manually.
Install an addon that displays Ardenweald treasure locations on the map so you do not search for the chest blindly.
Demon hunters find it most convenient to check how the blade looks in combat, thanks to the fast animations of warglaives.
Once you unlock the appearance, you can equip the glaive on any class able to wield warglaives, without farming again.
While you are at this treasure, it is convenient to collect the other Ardenweald chests for the zone's treasure achievement.

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
