Get Edict of the Redeemed Crusader

Edict of the Redeemed Crusader is an epic-quality two-handed mace added in Dragonflight alongside the ancient plans system. It is a massive head on a long haft in the spirit of a heavy crusader's hammer: a golden-steel palette with engravings and sacred symbolism gives the weapon a solemn, order-like look. The silhouette is solid and ceremonial, like a relic of a knightly order.

The item's stats no longer matter today — this is a purely cosmetic appearance for transmog collectors. The mace's main value lies in its strict "holy" aesthetic, which fits the look of paladins and heavy plate wearers well.

This weapon cannot be obtained as a finished drop — it is crafted through Blacksmithing from an ancient plan.

• The recipe "Ancient Plans: Edict of the Redeemed Crusader" teaches you to craft the mace and requires classic Blacksmithing at skill level 300.
• The plan itself cannot be bought directly: it drops from a Slime-Covered Scroll, which when used unlocks a random ancient Naxxramas recipe.
• The scroll is obtained in the Naxxramas raid in Dragonblight — outdated Wrath of the Lich King content that can be cleared solo without trouble.

Ancient recipes from the scroll are not bound to your character, so the plan you need can be bought or sold on the auction house. If you don't feel like farming scrolls yourself, the finished mace or the recipe itself can often be found from other players.
