Enlightened Dagger — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Enlightened Dagger is a one-handed dagger added to World of Warcraft with the Shadowlands expansion (patch 9.2, the final chapter "Eternity's End"). It is a light blade designed in the brokers' signature style of the Zereth Mortis zone: an engraved hilt with angular golden trim and a narrow polished blade. The model belongs to the Enlightened weapon family, so the look fits perfectly into any set that references the themes of the brokers and the Primus.
By its stats it is a rare entry-level item for the 9.2 zone, but in the modern game its value is purely cosmetic: the stats have long been irrelevant, while the model itself remains in demand among transmog enthusiasts. The dagger suits all classes and specializations that can wield daggers.
Source
The dagger drops from regular mobs in Zereth Mortis — it is a world drop, not tied to a raid or dungeon. The main confirmed source is the elite elemental Hulking Geomental, which roams the central part of the zone.
- The Hulking Geomental is an elite level 60 enemy that spawns in groups near the coordinates
/way 48.4 28.4and/way 49.4 25.4. - The drop chance is low, so plan on several runs and killing multiple elementals per session.
- There is no attempt limit: you can farm indefinitely, and several characters on the account can collect the loot at once.
- Access to Zereth Mortis opens after completing the introductory part of the Shadowlands campaign in this zone; for max-level farming it is a formality.
- Solo farming goes smoothly — the mobs have long scaled below your level and die quickly.
Who it suits visually
- It fits well into sets themed around the brokers and Zereth Mortis — a unified golden-sandy palette.
- It harmonizes with light cloth and leather armor in pastel shades, typical of Primus-inspired outfits.
- It contrasts with the dark "shadow" sets of Shadowlands — a debatable but expressive choice for looks that emphasize a bright blade.
- It suits rogues and druids as a light paired dagger in builds that focus on an elegant silhouette.
Tips
Before farming, make sure Zereth Mortis is unlocked on your character — otherwise the mobs will be blocked by the storyline.
Hit the elementals in batches: Hulking Geomentals stand in groups, and clearing a spot gives you several drop chances at once.
It is most efficient to farm on a class with good mobility and area damage — it quickly gathers and downs groups of elementals.
Alongside farming the appearance, you can clear the zone's daily quests and Enlightened reputation so your time is not wasted.
The dagger is bind-on-equip, so there is no point in passing extra copies to other characters — the appearance unlocks account-wide after the first acquisition.
If the drop is slow to come, switch between several elemental spawn points so you do not wait on a single group respawning.

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
