Gatecrasher is an epic-quality one-handed axe from the Firelands raid in the Cataclysm expansion. It is a massive fiery weapon in the signature style of Ragnaros's realm: a broad blade with glowing veins of lava, scorching orange-red tones, and a rough, almost primal shape. The model belongs to the Firelands weapon appearance family and reads well even from a distance thanks to its bright glow.

For transmog, the model is what matters: the item's stats have long been irrelevant, and it is worn purely for its striking fiery silhouette. The axe is an excellent fit for fire-, elemental-, and Elementals-themed looks.

The axe drops from Baleroc, one of the bosses of the Firelands raid, located on Mount Hyjal.
