Giant's Bane — Transmog Set Guide

Giant's Bane is a two-handed epic-quality gun added to World of Warcraft in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion alongside the Ulduar raid. It is a massive metal rifle with a heavy barrel and a stocky stock, finished in a dark-steel palette with copper accents — the quintessential titanic industrial style of Ulduar.

For modern hunters the item's stats are irrelevant: its item level is long outdated. The rifle's value is purely visual. Its heavy, brutal silhouette looks great in transmog sets built around dwarven or titanic themes, and it is easy to farm even solo.

The rifle drops from Kologarn, a giant stone guardian protecting the passage deep within Ulduar.

• The Ulduar raid is located in the Storm Peaks (Northrend), in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
• The item drops only in the 25-player mode. The drop chance is around 7%.
• The farming limit is once per week, for as long as the weekly raid reset is active.
• The content is many expansions out of date, so the entire raid can be cleared solo with ease.

Kologarn is the third major encounter in Ulduar, and you can reach him within a couple of minutes from the entrance. After the victory, the loot appears in a chest next to the boss.
