Gilneas Loyalist Boltshot is a crossbow transmog illusion added in Midnight alongside update 12.0.5. Technically it is not a separate weapon but a decorative effect: the item adds the "Crossbow" appearance to your warband's collection, after which it can be applied to any suitable ranged weapon.

The model is rendered in a strict Gilnean style — a massive dark-toned wooden stock, metal trim and a heavy bow. Its silhouette echoes the weapons of the worgen and the soldiers of Gilneas, so the boltshot looks great in sets with a gothic, military theme.

The item is of uncommon quality and is warband-bound, meaning that after purchase the appearance is available to all characters on your account.

The boltshot is sold at the Trading Post — a cosmetics shop that refreshes every month. The illusion was part of the "The Grey Sky of Gilneas" season collection (May 2026), entirely dedicated to Gilneas and the worgen.
