Glaive of the Pit — Transmog Set Guide

Glaive of the Pit is a two-handed polearm of epic quality from The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a massive demonic halberd with a wide curved blade and a jagged pommel in a crimson-and-black palette, designed in the style of the pit lords of Outland. The look suits classes that wield polearms: warriors, paladins, demon hunters, and druids.

The item has a built-in chance-on-hit effect: attacks have a chance to trigger Drain Life, restoring some of the wielder's health. With its item level 38 stats, the glaive has long been irrelevant, so these days it is acquired purely for the appearance — it is one of the recognizable "demonic" polearms of the classic era.

The appearance is obtained from the Magtheridon's Lair raid in Hellfire Peninsula in Outland.
