The model references the warchief's own weapon and is easily recognizable thanks to its rough, warlike shape.

The item is bound to account (it is an heirloom), so once obtained it becomes available to every character on your account regardless of faction and class. The item level here is purely nominal — heirlooms are valued not for their stats but for their appearance and the convenience of sharing them between characters.

Originally the appearance belonged to a weapon that dropped from Garrosh Hellscream — the final boss of the Siege of Orgrimmar raid in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. It is part of Garrosh's set of "doom" weapons, designed in a unified crimson-steel style.

• As a direct drop from Garrosh, this weapon was removed from the game with patch 6.0.3 — it no longer drops from the boss.
