Get Hellscream's Requiem

Hellscream's Requiem is an epic two-handed axe from the Shadowlands expansion. The massive blade is forged in the grim aesthetic of the Maw: dark metal laced with smoldering orange-crimson veins and sinister spikes. The name itself references Garrosh Hellscream, whose soul was held captive in the Maw, giving the weapon special lore weight for fans of the Horde.

This is a full-fledged combat model with stats appropriate to its level, but today the item is valued first and foremost as a transmog: the axe's menacing silhouette is perfect for looks built around the theme of the Legion, demonic hordes, and dark magic. The appearance debuted in patch 9.1.

The axe drops in the Sanctum of Domination raid — a Shadowlands raid located in the heart of Torghast.

• The drop comes from the boss Soulrender Dormazain.
• The drop chance is around 7.89%, which is quite generous for a raid weapon.
• The appearance drops on Mythic difficulty of the raid; it can be cleared solo today.
• Attempts are unlimited: the raid resets weekly, so you can come back for the axe every week.
• Dormazain is the fourth boss of the raid, easy to reach by clearing the preceding enemies.

Dormazain is located in the lower part of the raid instance:

• Fits perfectly into looks themed around the Legion and demonic hordes thanks to its smoldering crimson veins.
• Harmonizes with plate sets in a black-and-red palette — especially with Maw armor and Torghast themes.
