Overview

Inevitable Claymore

Game iconInevitable Claymore is a two-handed sword added to World of Warcraft with patch 10.1.5 of the Dragonflight expansion. The blade is styled in the bronze, temporal aesthetic of the chronolords: warm golden-sand metal, a smooth curve of the edge and a silhouette "frozen in time". It is a strength weapon, so the appearance is collected by warriors, paladins and death knights.

The sword is part of the veteran gear set handed out by the vendor Shi Everbreeze for activity in the Time Rifts of Thaldraszus. Despite its blue rarity, the clean shape and bronze finish make the claymore a convenient base for looks themed around the bronze dragonflight.

Source

The claymore is sold by the vendor Shi Everbreeze in the Thaldraszus zone.

  • Price: one Game iconDilated Time Capsule and 10 units of the Paracausal Flakes currency.
  • The capsule is granted once per week for the quest When Time Needs Mending, and it also drops from the Time Rifts bosses.
  • Paracausal Flakes are earned in the Time Rifts themselves and from weekly quests.
  • The item is bound on pickup, but the appearance is added to the collection permanently.

Visual Pairing

  • Complements looks themed around the bronze dragonflight: the sandy-gold metal echoes the chronolords of Thaldraszus.
  • Fits well into plate sets in a warm golden-brown palette.
  • Suits the titanic aesthetic of Thaldraszus — temple and mechanized sets.
  • The neutral silhouette without any glow makes the claymore a calm base, easy to match with a weapon enchant illusion.

Tips

1

The appearance is collected by warriors, paladins and death knights — only these classes wield two-handed swords.

2

The Dilated Time Capsule is granted once per week, so on a single run grab the item you need most.

3

Flakes pile up quickly: one or two Time Rifts are usually enough for the purchase.

4

The Time Rifts event arrived in patch 10.1.5, but it remains available in Thaldraszus to this day.

5

Besides weapons, Shi Everbreeze also trades other event rewards — check the entire assortment.

6

If you only want the transmog, the blue version of the appearance is enough: item level does not matter for the collection.

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
