Overview

Железный посох регенерации

Game iconIronstaff of Regeneration is a two-handed staff of epic quality from The Burning Crusade expansion. It is a stern metal staff with a massive head, kept in a dark-steel palette without flashy effects — a calm, classic model that fits well into restrained looks.

The staff is intended for characters who wield this weapon type: priests, mages, warlocks, shamans, druids, and monks. Despite its modest item level, its silhouette remains in demand among transmog collectors thanks to its understated shape and neutral color.

The staff is obtained in a dungeon from the Outland era, so today it is purely an appearance: for combat the item has long been irrelevant, but as a transmog it is still available to any character of a suitable class.

Source

The staff drops in a dungeon from The Burning Crusade expansion.

  • Dungeon — Auchenai Crypts, part of the Auchindoun necropolis in the south of Terokkar Forest.
  • Source — Exarch Maladaar, the final boss of the dungeon.
  • Drop chance — about 9.7% per run.
  • Mode — both Normal and Heroic difficulty work, and solo farming poses no trouble at the current maximum level.

Exarch Maladaar stands in the far part of the dungeon. The path to him is short: you only need to pass through the hall with undead enemies and clear the mid-boss before the final room.

Who It Suits Visually

  • Pairs with restrained cloth and leather sets in gray-steel and dark tones.
  • Suits looks of the "stern priest" or "dark apostate" type — the neutral metal does not pull attention away from the armor.
  • Contrasts well with warm golden-bronze sets, adding a cold accent.
  • A good choice for minimalist looks where the weapon should be a subtle addition rather than the central element.

Tips

1

The optimal farming method is to enter the dungeon solo at max level and kill only Exarch Maladaar.

2

The dungeon can be reset and run again several times in a row until the daily instance reset limit kicks in.

3

A chance of about 10% means the staff drops on average within 8–12 runs — plan for several attempts.

4

It is most convenient to farm on classes with high movement speed and good self-healing, so you can run through the dungeon as fast as possible.

5

This same boss and dungeon drop other appearances, so it makes sense to inspect all the loot in a single run.

6

The appearance becomes available immediately after obtaining the item — learn it to unlock the model in your transmogrification collection.

Started playing back in Pandaria, when the pandaren were still a novelty. Got stuck on Monk because it's the only class where you don't get dizzy after a dash. Tries to manage both tanking and kicking enemies in the face.
