Jaina's Staff — Transmog Set Guide

Jaina's Staff is a two-handed intellect staff added in the Cataclysm expansion alongside the "End Time" dungeon. The staff's model mirrors the weapon of Jaina Proudmoore from the vision of Azeroth's grim future: a slender head with turquoise crystals and a cold magical glow, kept in a blue-and-cyan palette. It is a "transmog echo" of the legendary staff of the archmage, styled after the aesthetic of water and frost mages.

The item suits characters who use staves: mages, priests, warlocks, druids and shamans. Because of its pronounced arcane-frost color scheme, it is most often taken by mages — primarily the Frost specialization.

The appearance drops from the dungeon's final foe — Echo of Jaina.

• The dungeon — End Time, a Cataclysm heroic dungeon located in Tanaris near the Caverns of Time.
• Echo of Jaina is one of the "echo bosses" in the first part of the dungeon. Before it, either Echo of Jaina or Echo of Sylvanas appears at random, so in a single run you encounter only one of them.
• The drop chance for "Jaina's Staff" is about 12%. If Echo of Sylvanas appeared in the run, the staff cannot be obtained that time.
• For a current character the content is cleared solo without trouble — the dungeon is long outdated in difficulty.
• There is no limit on the number of attempts: the dungeon can be reset as many times as needed by leaving and resetting the instance.

• Water and frost mage looks — the turquoise glow pairs well with blue-and-white armor sets.
• Themed "Jaina" builds — the staff becomes the centerpiece of a cosplay look for the archmage.
• Cold-toned sets for priests and shamans — the staff supports an arcane-frost color palette.
